How to Set Up a Bridge Between the LAN & a Wireless Network : A local area network, commonly called a LAN, refers to two or more computers connected via Ethernet cable. If one of those computers also connects to the Internet via a wireless network, you can create a network bridge to allow other computers on the LAN to connect to the same wireless network. So even if some computers on the LAN do not have wireless cards, they can still receive the Internet through the network bridge.
Instructions
1. Turn on the computer with the wireless network.
2. Locate the computer’s wireless network icon in the lower-right corner of the taskbar and right-click it. A menu opens.
3. Click “Open Network and Sharing Center” from the menu.
4. Click the “Change adapter settings” option from the left column.
5. Click the “Wireless Network Connection” icon you wish to bridge with the LAN.
6. Hold “Ctrl” and click the “Local Area Connection” you wish to bridge. Release “Ctrl.” Both networks are selected.
7. Right-click one of the selected networks. A menu opens.
8. Click “Bridge Connections.”
